A Fair Label With Global Distribution By The Orchard
September 2021 Major Record Distribution LLC was founded by Phyllis Salter-Gann, Bruce W. Jackson, Andy Courcier and Drake King. The label was shelved in late 2022 after not being able to obtain a major distribution. The owners felt it would do no good to release music through one of the regular channels. Major distribution is what was needed to help the artists reach more platforms and worldwide. In May 2023 the label obtained Global Distribution through The Orchard. One of the largest distributors in the music industry. We kicked into full motion moving forward with the label. Within announcing we had The Orchard for distribution we received over 150 submissions. We are being very selective on the artists we pick. They must be driven to have a career in the music industry and willing to do the work. As of September 2023 we have signed 2 artists, Ameri Shaye and Richie Love "The Saxiest Man Alive".

Drake King left the company for family reasons. The label is owned by Bruce W. Jackson, Phyllis Salter-Gann and Andy Courcier.
As of April 23, 2025 Bruce W Jackson and Andy Courcier left the label due to personal issues. Ownership changed to Phyllis Salter-Gann.

In 2021, Phyllis along with 3 partners, founded Major Record Distribution LLC. In May 2023, they obtained global distribution with The Orchard. In May 2023, Phyllis and one partner started MRDG Publisher LLC. In April 2025 due to personal reasons, the Label and the Publishing Company converted ownership over to Phyllis.

As a Recording Artist, Singer/Songwriter, Manager, A&R Rep. and Business Owner, Ronneca was born in Lancaster, Ohio and moved to Kansas to pursue her dreams and career with a rock bank called Ridiculas Trixx. She also helped build a current online radio station from the ground up and was a DJ for a couple of years until she pursued her career in music.
